Schools and universities
The class side is built and opens soon
Students join what they write to what they read, and say why. Each text keeps its versions in the order they were made.
Where it is used
- Senior English and History
- Each claim in an essay joined to the passage it rests on, with the form named: answers, echoes, quoted from.
- University essays and reviews
- Sources, sentences and the joins between them in one project, exported to .docx with footnotes.
- Theses
- A chapter-long map of what each paragraph draws on, and every version kept for supervision.
- Writing centres and tutors
- Teach how a sentence earns its source, with the student’s own words on the page.
- Assessment design
- The making of a text kept beside it: one input to a teacher’s own judgement, never a verdict.
Built for classes
- Cohorts, with join codes that expire and cap
- Hand in, from the student’s own project
- A console for teachers, coordinators and assessors
- Assessment templates for NSW and Victorian schools, and for universities
- Staff see only what a student hands in, never live writing
